ECOCERT is internationally working and independent control organization located in France. Since 2002 it has controlled also natural cosmetics natural ingredients and the quality of nature friendliness. These days ECOCERT is one of the most known seals in natural cosmetic standards and is highly trusted, because of its extensive testing and product valuations.

Standards for certified products are:

• All the ingredients must be from renewable natural resources and they need to be produced nature friendly and keeping the natural balance.
• The products need to be made without genetically engineered ingredients, parabens, phenoxyethanol, nano particles, silicon, polyethylene glycol, synthetic parfumes or colours and product of animal origin (except if the animal produces it naturally i.e. honey, milk ect.).
• At least 95% of all ingredients must be from natural origin.
• Packaging must be biodegradable or recyclable.
