Helsingin villasukkatehdas is a member of the Association for Finnish Work, and the products bear the Key Flag mark.
The wool socks are knitted from carded wool yarn with 70% wool and 30% polyamide. The villa is ethically produced (mulesing-free) and sourced from New Zealand. The yarn is spun from wool from three different sheep breeds to get just the right properties for wool socks: warmth, breathability and a pleasantly soft feel on bare foot. Because the wool socks are steeled with polyamide and with reinforced heels and toes, they can withstand even harsh wear.
Much of the making of wool socks is precise craftsmanship. Each wool sock leaving the factory is inspected individually, and high and consistent quality is a matter of honor.
